Many of us have turned to running over lockdown to help stay active. As one of the few physical activities which requires no equipment, can be done outdoors whilst social distancing and provides a whole host of benefits, it’s no surprise that running has become a popular way to exercise at this time.

Despite loosening lockdown restrictions across areas of the UK, many people plan to continue their running.

According to Trail Magazine UK, ‘nearly three quarters of runners (72%) said they were keen to stay running after the pandemic ends. Among those new to running during the period of restrictions, 62% said they wanted to keep it up.’
