Thea Mackenzie

Hi, my name is Thea…

I have a background in Healthcare, with 2 years experience working full time in the NHS.  I decided on a career change to become a Personal Trainer with a view to improve people’s mental and physical health and wellbeing from a different angle.  My interest in the gym stemmed from playing team sports, specifically Netball, to a Regional Level where I would have weekly strength and conditioning training. Following my graduation in 2020 I developed a passion for the gym and more specifically weight training and functional fitness competitions. Developing this passion came after the realisation that I was not fully comfortable in my body and fitness levels after 3 years at Uni (as we know this can come with some less than healthy habits…) and I made significant changes to my lifestyle resulting in some weight loss and strength and mobility improvements. Fitness and wellness are now a core part of my daily routine and I am keen to help as many people as possible achieve their own transformations whatever this means to each individual!

There is no perfect body, and I stand by the message Progress not Perfection.
